From what have been reported earlier in Engadget, the HP TouchSmart tm2 convertible tablet is a 12.1-inch laptop which is driven by new Intel Core 2 Duo processor and ATI Mobility Radeon graphics. It has 9 hours of battery life off its standard 6-cell. Most importantly, the capacitive multi-touch screen is finger and pen friendly.

The physical and internal designs are pretty much impressive. It's aluminum case gives the laptop the firm and professional look. It also looks thinner and lighter than its peers.

The most impressive about the HP TouchSmart tm2 is its convertibility feature. You can use it as a typical looking laptop or when you are inside a moving vehicle like your car or a bus, HP TouchSmart tm2 can be converted into a sleek tablet PC, presenting a full-color touch screen interface. Simply turn its monitor up, then close it over the body, overlaying the keyboard.

Solar Powered Tent is Labeled “Tent of the Future”

the "tent of the future"
the "tent of the future"

This is definitely the coolest thing that ever happened to camping! Getting the best of both worlds, a solar powered tent and the adventure of nature camping, will leave you nothing but pure pleasure. Innovative and functional, are the two best words to describe this latest technology.

Camping will never be the same again with Orange Solar Powered Tent. This tent is co-designed by an American company named Kaleidoscope. The self-charging tent is equipped with a foldable solar panel made of photovoltaic fabric to receive the maximum amount of energy directly from the sun.

It uses the "glo-location" technology that helps campers find their way back to the tent. The technology enables the tent to glow when prompted by an sms alert sent via the camper's mobile phone.

The tent is also installed with a WIFI on a colorful touchscreen display. Gadgets and electronic stuff can be used anytime inside this tent. Laptops, mobile phones, T.V., microwave, fridge and heaters, name it, you'll be able to bring it. But be sure to have a room for yourself. Bringing all these stuff may blur your idea of "nature camping".

IPhone Sets A New Trend in Controlling Androids

ROBOFING

Who would ever thought that anybody can make an Android walk, run and jump even without having to create that robot? Adding to the IPhone vs Droid debate, IPhone is now capable of controlling androids with simple movements of the users fingers.

This new technology called 'Walky' was developed by Keio University in Tokyo especially designed to control androids. "More specifically, they've created an interface that puts control of a bipedal humanoid robot right at your fingertips."

"Walky" makes use of an IPhone's screen, enabling the robot to move with the simple movements of the fingers. Traditionally, controllers like joystick.paddles and buttons were used to control video games and remote-controlled gadgets and robots, but they do not necessarily have natural relations that's why they are difficult for first time users.

However, "Walky" uses simple commands that even newbies can get to enjoy this new technology. To operate "Walky", using the index and middle finger will make the robot walk, tapping the screen makes it jump up and down, and a flicking motion with one finger initiates a kicking motion.
