The Toshiba Portaro SD-P12DT portable DVD player is weigh in 2.8kg only, which is about the same weight of a business laptop and it measure at 342 x 73 x 326 mm, and has introduced the latest portable DVD Player of 2010.

Toshiba Portaro SD-P12DT has provided a built-in stand at the rear side. P12DT has been equipped with a nice little 12-inch LED backlight screen what could support up to 1366 x 768 pixels resolution that has become the new standard. has provided a built-in stand at the rear side, so you can easily rest it up above your desk.

When you look at the right side, you will found one slot loading disc drive, one SD slot and button for ejecting disc. Inside the Toshiba Portaro SD-P12DT portable DVD player, ther is a built-in digital tuner and internal lithium battery that provide about 4 hours of operation time.

From the frontal view, you will see a range of playback buttons. Including navigation buttons to navigate through the built-in menu. Enough for watching though 1-2 movies.Toshiba Portaro SD-P12DT Portable DVD player will be available starting this 1st Feb 2010.

From what have been reported earlier in Engadget, the HP TouchSmart tm2 convertible tablet is a 12.1-inch laptop which is driven by new Intel Core 2 Duo processor and ATI Mobility Radeon graphics. It has 9 hours of battery life off its standard 6-cell. Most importantly, the capacitive multi-touch screen is finger and pen friendly.

The physical and internal designs are pretty much impressive. It’s aluminum case gives the laptop the firm and professional look. It also looks thinner and lighter than its peers.

The most impressive about the HP TouchSmart tm2 is its convertibility feature. You can use it as a typical looking laptop or when you are inside a moving vehicle like your car or a bus, HP TouchSmart tm2 can be converted into a sleek tablet PC, presenting a full-color touch screen interface. Simply turn its monitor up, then close it over the body, overlaying the keyboard.

The human brain is capable of processing as much as 34 gigabytes of information a day. That’s about 100,500 words a day, equivalent to 23 words per second, University of San Diego researchers estimate.

Brains are bombarded with so much information through email, the internet, TV, radios, cell phones and other media forms. According to Edward Hallowell, a New York psychiatrist and author specializing in attention deficit disorder,

“Never before in human history have our brains had to process as much information as they do today. They (people) are so busy processing information from all directions they are losing the tendency to think and to feel.”

Studies have found that our daily intake of information is enough to overload a laptop in week! Imagine, how our brain works. Furthermore, neuro-experts believe that this is revolutionizing the way neurons behave causing new nerve cells to be born.
